Can We Use Liquitex Markers on Gelli Arts Print Plate

It’s time for experiments! Let’s experiment with Liquitex acrylic markers on Gelli Arts printing plates. Acrylic markers are acrylic-based with high pigmentation and lightfastness. We were wondering if they would be suitable for the plates for printing, and they did!

The end result is with a carving feel, but in many colors.

It was a completely different feeling from using paint on the gel plate. There is much greater precision that can be easily achieved by using a marker instead of a paint brush!
