The transfer gel of “Stamperia” is designed to transfer dense and inflexible images in a suitable form for working with decoupage equipment.

Stamperia’s textile transfer medium is water-based. It is applied in several layers on the desired image. Each of the layers of the medium must be completely dry before applying the next one, and the drying of one layer of the varnish takes about 30-40 minutes. After the last transfer layer has dried, moisten the wrapped side of the picture with a wet brush and scrub with your finger to remove the paper. Wetting with water and scrubbing are repeated until the entire paper base of the image is erased, leaving only the strokes of the picture printed on the transparent transfer varnish. The image thus prepared is glued to the selected fabric (preferably cotton), again with the help of the textile medium, after which the decorated textiles are fixed with another layer of the medium. To seal, the transfer image must be ironed for about 5 minutes on both the front and the packaging side. Textiles decorated with a transfer image can be washed, but at low temperatures.

The transfer textile gel-medium for decoupage of “Stamperia” is available in a package of 100 ml. It is recommended to use it when transferring images from photocopies, transfer paper or decoupage paper.
