The ABIG roller press is designed for image transfer in linocut. It can be used with special paints for linocut, as well as with acrylic, tempera paints or ink.
The ink presses of the German company “ABIG” have an outer layer of special soft rubber and the inner part made of plastic material, preventing the paints from seeping and deforming their appearance. They have a wooden handle with an easy-to-grip shape, and, unlike ordinary ink rollers, the press rollers do not have holders for fastening above the working area.
The roller – linocut press of “Abig” is 25 mm wide and its diameter is 48 mm. In addition to applying paint or ink, it can also be used to fix small decorative elements, stickers and labels.
