Caran d’Ache Single Pastel Pencil – one of the highest quality pastel pencils known on the market, with the help of which drawings acquire incredible depth and realism.
The pastel pencil has thick, dry graphite with a diameter of 4.7 mm., and its core is filled with highly saturated, lightfast pigments that are easily smeared. Its hexagonal body is made of high-quality cedar with an easy-to-grip round shape, and for greater convenience at its end it is colored in the same shade of graphite.
With their easy, comfortable and precise application, the pastel pencils of “Caran d’Ache” are an excellent tool for placing color accents and detailed strokes in images, and mixing their saturated pigments with the other shades of the series makes it possible to create new and incredibly beautiful color combinations to achieve bright, contrasting and vivid 3D paintings.

Използвала съм много и различни марки пастелни моливи – Stabilo Carbothello, Faber-Castell Pitt, Derwent, Cretacolor и Koh-I-Noor и определено пастелните моливи на Caran D’Ache са най-добрите от горе изброените и въпреки доста високата цена, мисля че си заслужават инвестицията. Цветовете са наситени а усещането е по-скоро за средно твърд пастел, отколкото за пастелен молив, но контролът е много по-голям и може да се подостри до хубав връх. Липсва усещането за драскане, което се появява понякога при пастелните моливи.
