Epoxy resin is designed to create spectacular images resembling glass surfaces. It is used to make jewelry and to imitate glass in objects decorated with decoupage technique.

Cadence’s epoxy resin is a two-component system. It consists of resin and hardener, which are mixed in a 1:1 ratio. After mixing the additives, they are gently stirred with a wooden whisk until a homogeneous, homogeneous mixture without bubbles is obtained. This mixture is poured onto the selected surface (a mold on which a picture, twig, flower, inscription, etc., is placed in advance, which, after the resin has dried, will be transparent through the dense and thick glass layer). In case epoxy resin is used in decoupage to prevent staining and leaving greasy imprints on the paper, the resin should be applied after the surface has been varnished. Typically, the resin dries within 48 hours after application, and with a thinner layer, its drying time can be shorter – up to 24 hours after laying.

The Cadence epoxy resin set contains 2 packs of 500 ml. – resin and hardener. Although the resin is odorless, it is toxic and should be handled in a ventilated area. Safety gloves should be put on before work. Its storage should be in tightly closed bottles, at room temperature, away from children.
