The “Impressions Pad” of “Sizzix” is designed to work with the Big Shot, Sizzix BIGkick and Vagabond cutting and embossing machines .
The hard “Impressions Pad” of “Sizzix” is used to make embossing, along with test plates and templates for relief. They are used to form a sandwich passing through the cutting and embossing machines, and their arrangement is as follows: transparent plexiglass mat, embossing punch, paper, thin silicone mat (rubber) and hard black latex relief pad (Impressions Pad). The Impressions Pad compensates for the flexibility of the underneath rubber pad, providing enough pressure and height to apply the necessary pressure, resulting in spectacular relief images. On the other hand, the soft rubber silicone pad allows for proper bending along the outline, or, to put it another way, the two black pads are used together, although they are available separately.
The dimensions of the rigid embos pad are 14.92 x 22.54 x 0.36 cm.
