CHARBONNEL ETCHING INK 60 ML. – BURNT SIENNA (BAKED SIENNA)
The inks of the French company Charbonnel are designed to work with graphic techniques such as etching, aquatint, mezzotint, dry needle and others.
Charbonnel engraving inks are composed of highly concentrated finely ground lightfastness and low-acid pigments bound to linseed oil. They have durable and saturated colors that can be diluted with a transparent base or linseed oil. In the first case, the addition of transparent paint does not change the color of the ink, but only thickens it, while in the second, linseed oil dilutes the consistency and reduces the density of the ink. Charbonnel engraving inks do not contain desiccats. Like oil paints, they dry by oxidation, and the minimum time for their complete drying is 2 weeks.
Charbonnel inks are available in aluminum packages with a capacity of 60 ml.
