Cernit Number One clay is available in blocks of 56 grams. After firing, it becomes opaque and retains its color without any variations in shade. It is suitable for all techniques, including gradients and distinctions between multiple shades, thus offering great flexibility.

This modeling clay does not dry in air, which allows it to be stored for several years. It remains malleable and flexible even after baking, making it ideal for curved creations such as bracelets and rings. What’s more, it won’t transfer color to your hands or tools, and colors can be mixed for extra variety in your creations.

Made in Belgium, near Liège, Cernit clay is made from vegan materials. Odorless when baking, it won’t crack and offers a flawless finish. You can leave your creations matte or polish them for a glamorous finish without the need for additional varnishing.

Cernit’s Number One range is the most colourful on the market, offering over 40 different colours. These polymer clays are ideal for making jewelry, stones, figurines or homemade plants. They can be mixed with other spectacular clays for even more original creations and retain their characteristics even after firing.

How to use:

Work with the clay on a clean surface to avoid dirt.
Knead the clay well to make it pliable before starting your creation. You can use special tools for sculpting or modeling the clay.
For intricate creations, feel free to combine different colors from the Number One range to achieve unique effects.
Baking instructions:

Preheat your conventional oven between 110°C and 130°C.
Shape the clay as desired on a clean surface. Knead it to make it flexible, then sculpt it, model it or use it with other materials.
Place your creation in the oven and bake for up to 30 minutes. Caution: Do not use a microwave oven.
Once baked, let it cool. Then your creation will be strong and durable.
