Nepalese handmade paper is suitable for decorating lamps, wrapping gifts, making cards, boxes, albums and appliqués, various art, craft and scrapbook projects.
Nepalese handmade paper is made from the natural fibers of the locta plant. The different length and uneven distribution of these fibers gives it not only a characteristic irregular texture, but also a greater density than that of ordinary paper. The process of its creation allows various plant elements to be incorporated into it, such as dried flowers, leaves, grasses, seeds or spices. It can be stained with various pigments, colored petal dust can be sprinkled on it, or spectacular embossed prints can be created. Each of the hand papers has not only a unique and inimitable design, but is highly resistant to wetting.
The specified handmade Nepali kraft paper has a natural white color and embossed texture. It is available in the form of A4 sheets, and its weight is 30 g/m².
