The “Idea Patina” patina, produced by the Italian company “Maimeri”, is used to create a decorative aging effect on uneven, embossed surfaces.
The two-phase patina series “Idea Patina” by “Maimeri” includes 4 aging sets – gold with a greenish tint, iron with rust, bronze with blue and copper with bluish. The combinations between metallics and oxidizers are factory-justified, in order to faithfully imitate old metal, therefore mixing products other than these products would have no effect.
The golden patina of the “Idea Patina” series is the first step in the two-component system for giving an antique look on various surfaces. After using it, an oxidizer with a greenish color is applied, which corrodes its surface.
