Structural paste from Maimeri is composed on the basis of acrylic resin in an aqueous emulsion, lipiris pumice, stabilizers and thickeners. It has a gray color with a dense fine-grained consistency.
It is suitable for building specific sand textures, reliefs and decorative 3D effects, such as those found in frescoes. It gives a matte finish and a rough appearance. Adheres to any surfaces – wood, paper, cardboard, metal, stone, canvas, glass, porcelain, ceramics and others. It dries, even when applied in a very thick layer, it does not crack, as it is very elastic. The drying time is proportional to the thickness.
The gray color of the paste can be used on its own as a structural paste or painted after drying. It allows it to be mixed with acrylic, watercolor and gouache paints, which paints both the binding gel and the pumice stone particles themselves. Thus, its natural color fades to the color with which it is mixed.
It can be applied using a brush, spatula, or use templates. As soon as it dries, the surface can be fixed with varnish.
