Walnut oil is a vegetable solvent for oil painting. It serves to thin and dissolve paints and increase the brightness and brilliance of colors.
Maimeri walnut oil is highly resistant to light. It is used to dilute thick oil paints, which not only makes it easier to apply and erase traces of the brush used, but also increases the transparency and depth of the applied layers. Unlike linseed oil, walnut oil does not turn yellow when dry, therefore it is ideal for working with paints with white and light tones.
The walnut oil of “Maimeri” is available in a glass bottle with a capacity of 75 ml.
